Challenge: Create a Ballroom in the Parking lot of the Greenwich Hyatt Regency for a benefit gala which has grown from 800 guests last year to over 1400 guests this year. The benefit gala was to be held in November so the planning committee was very concerned about climate control and the comfort of their guests.

Solution: CPRC install a floored and carpeted 120' x 180' tent which was connected to the Hyatt by a series of marquees and a 20x70 lobby tent. The guests could easily flow from cocktails inside the hotel to a dinner and presentation in the “ballroom” our tent. Lighting and fabric swags were used to soften the room and provide a pleasant dining atmosphere. Pin spots were focused on every table to highlight the beautiful floral arrangements. Large electric heaters & generators provided by GE energy rentals maintained a comfortable temperature so the guests could enjoy dinner.
