Challenge: Create an intimate environment to hold a black tie Gala celebrating RPI’s school of Architecture 75th anniversary on their ’86 football field.

Solution: CPRC installed a 80x90 dining tent, 50x70 cocktail/dance tent, 2- 30x45 catering tents, 20x40 restroom trailer tent, 20x30 coat check tent, 139’ of marquee to interconnect all tents. All the tents were floored and carpeted. The dining tent was decorated with fabric swags and the tent ceiling was washed in amber tones with source four par lights. The dining tent ceiling was also highlighted with gobo patterns from source four ellipsoidal lights. This all created a warm intimate atmosphere for dinner. The cocktail/dance tent had a very different look. We installed 8- martin moving lights to create a dynamic atmosphere with color changes and patterns on the tent ceiling. All the marquees were illuminated with perimeter lights. The entire event was powered by a 100 kw whisper watt generator.
